“May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
– Romans 15:5-6
As part of our efforts to live out this year’s theme verse for our Women’s Ministry, we have an opportunity to encourage some of the ladies who are being helped by Cobb Pregnancy Services (CPS). At our Christmas Jubilee we will be assembling gift bags to pamper the new moms when they give birth. We are collecting the following items to be put in the bags:
- snack bars (granola bars, Kind bars, etc.)
- individual packs of cookies
- breath mints/minty gum
- chapstick or lip balm
- facial cleaning wipes (travel size)
- pocket pack tissues
- cute, comfy socks/slippers
- hair bands
- small manicure sets
- scented votive-size candles
Bring your items to church and place them in the basket labeled “Donations for Christmas Jubilee service project” underneath the Women’s Ministry bulletin board in the hallway next to the atrium.
We are also collecting gift cards (Target, Wal Mart, etc.) to purchase additional items. You may give these to a Women’s Ministry team member on Sunday mornings or to Judy or Cameron on Wednesdays at our ladies’ Bible study.
