Winter/Spring 2018 studies

Amazing Collection, Year 3: From Romans to Revelation
10:00 – 11:45 a.m. Thursdays
January 11- March 28, 2018  meeting in conference room A101
The Amazing Collection is a unique Bible Study, allowing women who are new to God’s Word to comfortably begin their journey, while a seasoned Bible student experiences ‘aha moments’. We get a 30,000 foot view as we study one book a week and see the pieces of God’s Word fit together.  Weekly reading and prep work required. No prior attendance necessary.

The Envy of Eve
10:00 – 11:45 a.m. Thursdays
Begins January 11, 2018, meeting in the Loft
“The Envy of Eve guides readers to understand how desires grow into covetousness and what happens when this sin takes power in our hearts. Covetousness chokes out the fruit of the Spirit in our lives, allowing discontentment to bloom. The key to overcoming is to get to the root of our problem: unbelief-a mistrust of God’s sovereignty and goodness.”

Closer than a Sister by Christina Fox
7:15 – 8:45 p.m. Tuesdays
March 27 – May 1, 2018  meeting in conference room A101
We live in an age where ‘friendships’ are prolific and contact is constant. But are all of these people really our friends? The bond of Christian friendship is different. Built on our unity with Christ, these are real life, flesh and blood relationships – both sacred and sacrificial. Or own Christina Fox offers insight into how we can weave friendships that last through any season and reflect Christ to the world.
