Support for the Carroll family

11053349_10105363005665500_6887967139772392978_o (2)Claire (age 2), daughter of John and Caroline Carroll, has been diagnosed with Leukemia. The current treatment plan has had Claire receiving chemo and staying in the hospital for 3-4 weeks, then going home for 1-2 weeks at a time for 5-6 months.

As the Carroll family prepares for Claire’s final round of chemo, please see the list below for ways you can help support the Carroll family during this time.

The family’s primary need right now is for people to sit with Claire at the hospital, day and night, to play with her, feed her, and look after her.

Additionally, volunteers are needed to care for their other two children (including a newborn) when John and Caroline need to be at the hospital. Click here to sign up to stay with Eloise and Isaac.

A family friend is coordinating the schedule for hospital childcare. If you are able to help with either of these needs, please contact Debbie James at 770-461-8260 (home) or 678-485-4636 (cell).

Meals to go
Caroline’s parents’ church in Fayetteville is collecting gift cards to restaurants around CHOA (Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, Qdoba, etc) for Caroline and John. If you would like to donate a gift card, you may give them to Lilly Pellegrino or Amy Valerio. Click here for a map listing of restaurants near Scottish Rite.

Please continue to pray for Claire, as well as for John, Caroline, Eloise, and Isaac.

If you have any questions, please contact Lilly Pellegrino by filling out the form below. Additional needs and updates will be communicated as they are available. Please check back.
